Founder + Creative Director

Starting SBJ from scratch in 2018, Jarrah has seen first hand the profound impact a thoughtful and well-executed social strategy can have on businesses of all backgrounds. Fiercely passionate about ‘humanising’ the social media approach of her clients, Jarrah makes it her mission to beautifully communicate the story, values and vision that make your brand different. As a specialist in both the paid and organic sectors, you’ll find Jarrah behind every strategy developed at SBJ.

Zoya

Paid Advertising & Strategy Specialist

Having individually generated over 1 million dollars in sales for our clients in the last 12 months, it’s no wonder Zoya is adored by our team and clients. As our Paid Ads specialist, Zoya brings an incredible amount of knowledge, experience and passion for all things Paid advertising to our team. With her hugely impressive track record of experience, Zoya is our go-to problem solver and has a knack for identifying and resolving complex issues & roadblocks in the paid ads space – a must have skill for anyone managing the ads of your brand. Zoya thrives in the Ecommerce and digital product sectors, loving nothing more [except maybe her veggie garden] than a fully optimised Paid Ads funnel.

Head of Organic Social

Gabi is like the golden retriever of our team, and you’ll know exactly what we mean when you meet her yourself. As our Head of Social, Gabi manages our organic department; specialising in digital storytelling, strategy optimisation and content marketing for brands across various industries. Quick to jump on exciting growth opportunities for her clients, Gabi has a gift for turning ideas into beautiful pieces of content that will have your audience stopping their scroll and wanting MORE from your brand. She’s like sunshine in human form, and everything she touches tends to feel the same! We’re certain you’ll love her as much as we do.

Ashleigh

Social Media Manager

As the full-time working mum of SBJ, it’s no surprise that Ash is the organisational powerhouse of our team. Encompassing all the crucial skills every social media manager should have [and then some!], Ash is an absolute gun when it comes to generating ideas, designing beautiful graphics and writing thought-provoking copy that converts. And if that isn’t enough? Ash is also an incredible product photographer and the face behind our client’s product photography shoots that you’ll see later in this PDF. She’s kind, smart, passionate about small business and one of the hardest working people we’ve ever known… you’ll be wondering what you ever did without her in your corner!

Kim

Community Manager

Behind every successful brand and social media account is an amazing community manager, or in our case… It’s Kim. As SBJ’s community manager, Kim actively nurtures the online communities of our clients through thoughtful interactions, swift responses, and general hands-on management of our client’s engagement on a daily basis. Leaving no stone unturned, Kim is responsible for responding to comments, DMs, tagged photos, story mentions, reposting stories and anything else in between to ensure our clients are consistently fostering loyal and personal relationships with their audience – no matter the size of it!

Our Story

In June 2018, Jarrah [our Founder] was working a part-time corporate job and running SBJ Studios purely as a side-gig and “passion project”. Without landing a single client for 3-ish months, Jarrah kept showing up in every way she could to keep building SBJ.

Flash forward to now? SBJ is not only her full time job, … it’s now a company and a team that literally thrives on the amazing impact we get to make on businesses & brands all over the world through the power of strategy, paid ads, social media management and personalised mentoring.

Ironically, the growth SBJ has experienced would absolutely not have been possible without social media itself (both paid and organic).
